About Ahmadreza Hakiminejad
Reza is a researcher, educator and experimental photographer based in the UK. He has studied architecture and urban design in Iran and the UK and has worked in several architectural and urbanism practices in the Middle East. He has been teaching and tutoring architecture since 2013. Inspired by his urban and architectural studies and fascinated by the notion of 'city', Reza has been taking photographs, particularly, of buildings, cityscapes and people for more than a decade. His photographs have been published in the British, American and Iranian print and online media, among them Getty Images, BBC, Art21 Magazine, Underline Magazine, Shargh Daily, etc. and featured in films such as Life May Be (2014) and Filmfarsi (2017). His photograph was included in the book: Candid Photography Collection for Exposure Award and was presented as part of a digital display at the Exposure Award Reception at the Louvre Museum, July 13th, 2015.
